A Lovely Monday at the Beach.

Today we headed on down to the beach to enjoy the wonderful weather we've been having here.

Near 80's in January? Crazy!

We played on the jungle gym, swung on the swings, ran on the sand, explored under the pier and ate lunch at one of our favorite spots.

If only every Monday could be this fun and easy.

Bay Day.

On Monday we went to the bay for the second and last time of the summer. 

It's so sad that we live so close to the beach and only made it there twice this summer, but it wears this mama out. So we're done for this year and hopefully next summer we'll make it at least a few more times.

Beach Day!

My sister and I finally made it down to the beach on Monday. It was a bit colder and gloomy than we had hoped but the kids still had a great time. 

I really don't want to let so much time go by before we go again and hopefully it will be much warmer out.
