The Car Washers.

I have the best car washers in the whole neighborhood.
They worked so hard, scrubbing and cleaning, making my car look shiny and bright.

Now if I could just get them to do it more often.
Hint, Hint.
(Love you babe. Thanks for washing my car with our boys.)

Instafriday.

I hope all of you are enjoying your holiday weekend.
So far ours has been very calm and relaxing.
It's weekends like these that I never want to end and wish they could go on forever.

Ahhhh...if only it were that easy.

Anyway, here's so Instagram photos for you.
Enjoy.

I went to this crazy estate sale and these were for sale. And this is how they were always displayed in the house.
Just a little weird.

My cousin got married last weekend and this was the cake topper.
He's a motorcycle kind of guy if you can't tell. Loved it.

Food trucks are so yummy!

My kids are so cool.

I buy my kids fly swatters to play with. Who needs toys?

Snack time on the front porch.

We spent one evening at the beach this week.
I love that we live 15 minutes away from the ocean.
I love California.

And of course we had to get ice cream at the beach.
He was a little mess.

We took a little bike ride yesterday.

I bought this book for the boys.
It cost a stupid amount of money but it's wonderful.

Happy Memorial Weekend!

Catching Up {sort of}.

I've had all these great intentions of catching up on all the blog posts I've wanted to write and yet it hasn't happened.
I thought for sure I could catch up on all my favorite blogs and yet my reader tells me I have over 500 unread posts. Yikes.
That's just not going to happen.
Here is what is going to happen.
I'm going to do a mini catch up right now and then start fresh.
No going back just moving forward.
Phew I feel better just writing that.

Here goes...

I took some bath photos of Jacob recently and I love this one.

A few weeks ago my sisters and I took the kids to The Discovery Science Center.
They all loved it but I have no good pictures to prove it.
Well just this one.

We went to the river a couple of weeks ago and had a blast.
My parents were finally able to take possession of their new boat, which took 4 years to build. Crazy.
Aren't they cute.
My grandparents, sisters, their husbands, all our kids and more were there too.
It made for a great time.

The very next weekend we headed up to Big Bear to spend some time with Brett's parents.
The boys were able to do a ton of fishing which made them very happy.

We played by the lake, went on a boat ride, visited the little zoo, ate too much good food, and relaxed.

So as you can see we've been busy.
Oh and I've been working for the last couple of weeks which will be ending soon, thankfully.
And the kids got sick in the middle of it all. Doesn't it always seem to go that way.
But they're on the mend and life is getting back to normal a bit.

I feel better now that I got that all out...lets move forward.

p.s. thank you for all the kind comments regarding Ethan and his stitches. i'm still so proud of my little guy.
